They gave me a 12 digit number. To find out I only needed the last 6 numbers. The first 6 are incorrect. There is no way to change it?

If you have not filed or mailed your tax return you can set up direct deposit, go to the "File" section and enter/update your bank account information.

Also, if you have filed or mailed your return and the account you listed is closed or invalid the IRS will mail you a refund check to the address on the most recent tax return.

Unfortunately, once you e-file, it's too late to change your refund method. You will have to contact the IRS.
