Stimulus.

The IRS stated that they need the Social Securiy number of the quailified person to process the stimulus refund. I can not find the information or place to put this information in Turbo tax.

When you enter a dependent you enter all of the information about the dependent--including the SSN-- in My Info.   Do you mean you cannot find their SSN or that you cannot find where to enter it?    What are you trying to do?

Did you get a letter from the IRS saying they reduced your refund because of the Recovery Rebate Credit?   And ssn is one of the 5 reasons?  Those are just generic reasons.  It might not be for that.  Check your 1040 line 30.  Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.   The IRS shows they already sent you the 3rd Stimulus payment last year.  Double Check you bank account.

@coldashell It is still not clear what you are trying to do.   You say you could not find where to enter "it."   Are you trying to enter the information for a dependent that you need to claim?   If so, you enter that in My Info.   But you say ..."the IRS says....."   so we are trying to figure out if you already filed and received a letter from the IRS.   Please give us some details.

Or is the IRS instead asking you about the Child Tax Credit, or perhaps the Child Care Credit?
