Reimport a carry forward from a previous year

I have already filed my 2020 taxes, but I had to go back and amend my 2019 to recognize a capital loss. Now, I have a loss to carry forward and need to amend it into my 2020 taxes. Can I reimport my amended tax file some how to get it to automatically update? Thanks!

You cannot reimport from the prior tax year ... any changes will need to be made as needed... open your TurboTax return, search for capital loss carryover, and then select the "Jump to" link in the search results.

if you have filed 2020 and now are changing the capital loss carryover from 2019 you should be amending 2020 not just changing the carry forward amount
