My 2019 Tax E-File keeps getting rejected stating that my 2018 AGI is wrong. I have entered in my AGI exactly as it was stated on my 1040 from 2018 so just a bit confusing here.

The IRS requires your 2018 AGI to verify your identity for e-filing. If you're paper-filing your return, you won't need your AGI because those are manually processed.
The best place to get last year's AGI is from the 1040 form you filed for 2018. Look on page 2, line 7. If you filed a 1040NR, it'll be on line 35. You won't find your AGI on your W-2 or 1099 form because those forms don't take into account over a dozen above-the-line deductions that go into calculating your AGI.
Where do I correct my 2018 AGI in TurboTax Online?

I'm having the same issue and the reply doesn't help. I know where to find the AGI. I've put it in exactly as it appears on my 2018 return and it keeps getting rejected. Any other thoughts besides where to find the AGI?
My circumstances are a little odd. My spouse died on 1/6/19. I filed as a surviving spouse in 2019. Because she was alive at the beginning of 2019 and received a W-2, turbo tax recommended filing as "married filing jointly."
Help
For this year 2019 return you can still file Joint. But there is a problem Efiling when one spouse died during the year. You will have to print and mail this year.
