Prior years tax returns

I am not able to find my prior years tax returns. I used Turbo Tax desktop (download from CD) for 2018 - 2020, but when I click on "Documents" on side menu and select 2020 from the drop down menu ("View documents for...") nothing shows up. Am I looking in the right place?

No  ---   you are in the wrong place.   If you used desktop software last year your tax files are on your own hard drive.  They are not stored online.

If you used TurboTax Online to complete and file your prior year tax returns, you can access them by following the steps in this TurboTax help article: How do I access a prior-year return?

However, it sounds like you used TurboTax CD/Download software to complete and file your returns, therefore, TurboTax would not have a copy as your tax return would be stored locally on your computer or storage device. 

You can request a copy of your tax return from the IRS, however, if you have an immediate need, you can get a copy of your tax transcript from the IRS. See How do I get a copy of my tax return or transcript from the IRS? for more information.
