My refund is still pending after a week

@buyafghans wrote:

I filed my 2020 Federal & State returns electronically on 2/1/21.  Both the Federal and State are still 'Pending" after over 2 weeks.  This is extremely unusual because I've electronically filed every year forever and I've helped friend file and theirs have been accepted after just a couple of days.  What's up with mine???

Your tax returns will remain Pending until the IRS starts pulling tax returns from the TurboTax servers. It may be several days after the IRS start date before your tax return gets accepted or rejected.

The IRS has to pull millions and millions of tax returns from servers throughout the country after the official IRS start date of 02/12/2021.

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

My refund is still pending after a week

When is this going to be fixed. My Federal return has been "pending" for 4 weeks. There is nowhere in Turbo tax where i can check or try to re-submit.

My e-file for New York state was rejected. Again nowhere in the API where i can go and try again.

May I just say that you have a TERRIBLE interface - I can't navigate it at all.

Why is my return still pending?   It should not be pending for that long.   Please contact support to get this resolved.   @jkrejto   The state return will not successfully process until the federal return has been accepted, so I understand why the NYS return was rejected.   But your federal return should not be in a pending status for more than 48 hours.
