I had already filed my 2020 taxes.

I was doing roth conversion projections using 2020 TurboTax Deluxe and received a Turbo Tax message:

   Status: Return Accepted

What does this mean. I had no intention of filing a tax return.

Not sure what you did ---- but if you already filed a 2020 tax return it is impossible to e-file a second time.   Once you file a return with your Social Security number any other attempts to e-file will be rejected.   Likely what you are seeing is the "accepted" status for the original return you filed.

Did you use the amendment process ?   If so you may have accidentally filed an amended return ... so log in and scroll down and look at the filing status section.
