Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2022 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund earlier than late February.

It was accepted on 1/24 and I filed electronically. I've never had the wording "still processing " which makes me feel like something is wrong.
@ashnik1989 The phrase "still processing" is very very common. Sorry.....some refunds can take longer than others. And...if you have anything on line 27 or line 28 of your Form 1040 you are subject to PATH delays and they hold your refund until late Feb.
The only difference between PROCESSING and STILL PROCESSING is a time factor. Once the return has be "processing" for 21 days or more the WMR? tool will switch to the "still processing" notification automatically. How much longer the return needs to process is unknown by even the IRS themselves and all you can do is wait patiently.
FYI ... that WMR? tool is often incorrect meaning that you can have your refund in your hand and the tool still say processing so don't worry about that too much.
Thanks. I just wasn't sure how I would know if I'm waiting because of an error or if there's just a small delay.
Any update ? Mines is still stuck in the processing stage this is the longest it’s ever taken
@Eselby21 TurboTax gets no updates for your refund. Only the IRS is in control.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
