Check your account transcripts instead :

If it has been shown up to now on the refund site then you know the IRS has your return and they are working on it.
To call the IRS:IRS: 800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri
Listen to each menu before making the selection.
First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions." It should then transfer you to an agent.
You would again, need to contact the IRS directly. Be sure to provide them with the details of your previous actions and communication.
Thanks, @Katina S . I did not write down the unique number IRS2go gave me & it's no longer available. (drat!) The [phone number removed] tree says to call back later after numerous tries.
I also called the Tax Advocate, and a recorded message said they couldn't help, call the IRS - catch 22.
So is there a direct number to call or a key to the phone tree to navigate it?

Thanks, @Critter-3 . Yes, the IRS2go tool flipped to 2021. My account transcript has been stuck in a Code 150 since December 1st. I appreciate this phone tree since I need to talk to someone to ensure they have all my info. They didn't previously, and I never received their snail mail request.

@Critter-3 Thanks for the phone tree. I got through to an agent who is also frustrated with the lack of movement on my return. For the second time, she wrote a referral to issue a letter for the next steps, a 3176c letter, frivolous claims for deductions. Without that letter, I cannot clear up the issue. Now I have to wait another 30 days to see if they will send me the letter! Any suggestions would be appreciated to get them moving!!!
By the way, a hint on how to get calls answered, call early in the day. The IRS Call Center opens at 7 am, I placed my call at 7:01, and by 7:12, they were engaged.
The best resource for you may be the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS). They are in place to assist in situations where you are unable to obtain resolution on your own.
This will get the process started for you. It's not going to be a fast process because they are handling a large volume at this time.
If you do not hear from TAS within one week of submitting Form 911, contact the Taxpayer Advocate office where you originally submitted your request. Incomplete information or requests submitted to a Taxpayer Advocate office outside of your geographical location may result in delays.
I tried calling the Tax Advocate months ago and got a recording saying they could not help me. I just completed a form 911 and will fax it to my state office. Thanks so much for your help.
