Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

IRS executed refund, but 9 days later nothing in my bank account.

All the bank routing numbers and accounts in my return are correct. State refund deposited just fine, but for some reason there is this huge lag between when the IRS said they deposited and when I am getting. Sounds like Intuit's third party transactor is making money off my refund.

Anyone else seeing this? Is 9 days typical? Like I said, this didn't happen for the state refund.

Would like to get my money.

Thanks for any help.

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

Did you have the TT fees withheld from the federal refund  and then the balance sent to your bank account or debit card ?

If so the refund needs to go from the IRS to the third party bank to your bank account.  This process can take up to 3 business days or more.

Check the IRS :  https://www.irs.gov/Refunds

Check  SBTPG:  by logging into their website at:  https://cisc.sbtpg.com/

Interestingly, it was original set up to pay the fees through the refund, but - because it was taking the IRS so long to issue the refund - TurboTax came back at me and asked me to pay the fees directly. Which I did. That said, maybe the way it was set up original is still baking delays in because I did get an email from the third party service.

Already to the IRS check (why I know they deposited it). Thanks for the SBTPG link (I assume that's the transaction third party).
