If I file and pay my federal taxes but forget to pay my state taxes will that count as tax evasion?

Hi, I did not pay my state taxes for the previous year because it was a very low amount, however I did file and pay my federal taxes so will this count as tax evasion or simply as a late payment?

It is just a late payment because  you did file ... the state will send you bills for the unpaid balance due + interest and possibly penalties.
