I’ve filed and set up to send the return by mail but I would like to change that to e-file. I’m unable to change the status of a amended return but I haven’t amended my return yet.

If it thinks you Amended you can delete the amended return.

If you haven't mailed it yet you can try to switch to efile.

Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
