We are happy to share that stimulus payments will begin to be deposited on January 8th for millions of our customers affected by the IRS error. We expect most of these payments to be available that day, but banks could take a few business days to process.
Payment will be deposited into the same bank account that customers received their 2019 tax refund.
Customers receiving a stimulus payment will receive an email from TurboTax letting them know their stimulus payment is on the way. We have been working tirelessly with the Treasury and IRS to get stimulus payments to our customers. We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and we regret that an IRS error caused a delay.
Please note the following page for additional information: Why Haven’t I Received My Second Stimulus Check?

Status #2 unavailable is what I am getting. But on the 4th it said that it was being dd into account that ended with last 4 of social. So none of those options help me.
If you don't receive your stimulus payment by the time you file your taxes, you can make an adjustment on your 2020 tax return for stimulus payments you qualify for, but have not received.
To do this in TurboTax, please follow these steps:
Doubt I will use turbotax this year if this isn't taken care of so that information doesn't help either.
No tax preparation firms are allowed to receive customer money, refund or stimulus. If you pay your fees upfront, then you deal directly with the IRS. If you choose to have fees taken from your refund, your money goes through a bank. All tax companies must do this. There was a problem for all in dealing with this third party. It is now resolved. If however, you still have not received your stimulus by January 15, you can claim it on your tax return, wherever you file.
We appreciate your past business and hope you will continue to use us.
