I have to mail my state taxes directly to irs a month ago and I don't know how to track it

If you amended a STATE tax return it should have been mailed to the state, not the IRS. If you mailed an amended state tax return to the federal address, they would have just pitched it out. Where did you send it?

Sorry I meant to the state , I followed the instructions of TurboTax and put a California address .
