I just filed my 2020 return. In past years there was a page that showed my effective tax rate, but I don't see that. Where can I find it this year?

We'd like to see what you're seeing.  Can you send us a sanitized copy of your return? 

If you're using TurboTax Desktop follow the directions below: 

1. Click into your return. ​
2. Click Online and select "Send Tax File to Agent". ​
3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK, the tax file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.​
4. Please provide the Token Number that was generated onto a response. 

TurboTax Online: 

1. Sign into your online account.​
2. Locate the Tax Tools on the left hand side of the screen. ​
3. A Drop down will appear. Click on Share my file with agent.​
5. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK, the tax file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.​
6. Please provide the Token Number that was generated onto a response. ​

NO EFFECTIVE TAX RATE INFO available and terrible/stupid Live advice for solution.

There is no printed or digital information on my Effective Tax Rate. Customer service could only provide an Estimate of what it might be. One of the customer service reps says it is on the cover page of the printed taxes. 2018- yes, 2019- yes, 2020 - NO......... NO COVER SHEET With This INFO EXISTS for 2020 Tax. Another Customer Service representative wanted me to open a new State Tax Filing Session to view Effective Tax Rate. Taxes are already filed...bad advice. Fix it and give me my money Beck. 

Turbo Tax LIve Help did not help and thinks that the customer is STUPID because it is on the coversheet. THERE IS NO COVERSHEET FOR 2020 turbo tax info. I want my full refund back (we will see) and will push my grievance to USAA to stop sponsoring or supporting Turbo Tax software.

@extrachuytax The effective tax rate for 2020, does show up in your downloads. Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online? If you are using TurboTax Desktop, go to forms mode and view "Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2020 Federal Tax Return"

If you used TurboTax Online, go to the Print Center and download all of your government documents and returns. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information, How do I print my federal tax forms? Ctrl/F to search for "Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2020 Federal Tax Return"

You should have a coversheet for 2020, so if you have tried these steps and you are still not seeing a coversheet, please call us to troubleshoot, What is the TurboTax phone number?

effective tax rate use to appear on a cover sheet if you downloaded your tax returns from turbo tax online couple of years ago, its no longer there, turbo tax online is a dinosaur, its slow and doesn't provide much useful information, its like the New York taxi cab, waiting for the "uber" of tax software to show up on the scene and make it irrelevant, tax software should provide some data analytics and not just be a fancy questionnaire. the folks responding on behalf of turbo tax are apparently using a different version of the software, there responses ( I found many different ones online) do not match what's actually out there.
