I just discovered I used the self-employed tax form, however I am not self-employed. I have already filed my returns for federal and state. Do I need to submit an amended return or wait to see if I am advised to do so?

No, you do not have to amend.  You just used a more expensive version of the software than you probably needed to use, but that version can be used even if you were not self-employed.  It is not a reason to amend your tax return.  Next time pay closer attention to the version of the software you are using--watch the screens--they tell you if you are upgrading.

What is the source of your income?   If not W-2 income then you probably are self-employed if you worked for the income.
