I filed my taxes on January 27, 2020 and the were accepted January 28, 2020. When I log on to the IRS where is my refund. It says we have no information.

My apologies I do see it says 2020. How long did it take. Did your status ever change while you were waiting?

status never changed I finally got a tax advocate and recieved my refund 2 weeks later February 5 2021. I filed my taxes for 2020 Feb 15 and refund is scheduled to deposit March 3 2021. if u go online and Google irs online transcript u can see if a issue was refunded before the online tool updates.  my bar shows refund approved but didn't 2 days ago but did show my refund was issued

My tax refund was accepted on Feb 12, 2021 and when I put my info in for where's my refund it says I input the wrong stuff. I done it again and copied from my tax return and still the same message. TurboTax gave me a March 5 date which is tomorrow but I can't get no updates from where's my refund nor any updates on my IRS account. What now

@Tallygirl68, It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks for your return to go from acceptance to approval. Once approved, at that point you will be able to track your refund on wmr.

I filed on Jan 16th 2021, it got accepted om Feb.10th today March 8th I've checked with where's my refund it suddenly says there's no info ?!? Anyone plz help I'm freaking out... before it said processing and now there's np info about it but all my info I enter is correct and def filed already !!!!

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

@Nana612 First, determine if your return accepted by the IRS or rejected so they are not working on your return. Log into your TurboTax account and verify that your return was accepted. 

• If rejected, correct the error, following the instructions with the rejection and submit again.
• If accepted, check the IRS website  to check the status of your return.  You  must enter the primary SSN, filing status, and the gross amount of the refund. You may also call IRS @ 1-800-829-1040. The gross amount is what is on your actual tax form, not what you may receive after fees, etc.

Hello! Yes it was accepted the same day I filed. I went on the irs website and also called and it says can’t find my information. It can never find my information and everything submitted was correct so I’m not sure and can’t seem to get in contra with a representative.

TurboTax does not receive information from the IRS about your return after we have transmitted the return to them.  All inquiries should be made to the IRS because TurboTax does not have any information on the IRS status.  However, this is not a new issue and is ultimately resolved.  I suggest continue trying to call to speak to a representative as they are now answering calls again.  There is an extensive processing delay but it is getting better now that the Stimulus project is well underway.
