I was asking this:  Did I need to include the information from the 1099-C anywhere else other than the 982 form?  One of the TurboTax Specialists helped me with this, and I only entered the 1099-C information into form 982.  Then, I started having a feeling, for reasons I'm not sure, that I didn't add it in all the right places.  Did I do it correctly to only enter the 1099-C information on form 982?

The bottom line is you exclude this income from your return if the insolvency exclusion applies (which it appears that is does in your case).
