How long does it take to get a check from tpg

I've done the indemnity form 3 times.  I gave up and called the IRS last week.  90-120 days I'll have my check.  Already been waiting since February

what number did you call for TPG? When I enter my SS# it says invalid entry, but I was told my amended return was sent to this bank

The IRS only mails checks for amended returns which come directly to you.  Not through the TPG or SBTPG bank.  No Direct Deposit.

How long will it take to receive a check through the irs? I’ve went through all the hoops from them sending a check but I couldn’t receive because I moved and it says return service requested. They sent it back on 9/22 after I requested funds to be sent to the irs in July. I called today 10/5 and the irs hasn’t seen anything yet. Should I call next week?

@Monicalew You say that you moved.   Did you send a change of address to the IRS so that the IRS has the correct mailing address for you now?

@Monicalew Then all you can do is wait for the IRS to send your refund.  The IRS is severely backlogged, so anything that requires handling by a human takes a long time.   Sorry, but no one in the user forum can predict how long it will take the IRS to send your check in the mail.   When they send it, it will be sent by first class mail without tracking, so you just have to watch your mailbox and open all mail --even if it looks like junk mail.   Only the IRS can tell you when the check will be sent.  TurboTax will not receive any information from the IRS.

I got an email when mine was being sent back and it said it's should receive it in 4-6 weeks to process new check.  Should be 10-12 weeks in all to receive the check from the time you request it get sent back to irs.

It takes 4-6 weeks to receive a new check in the mail? I’m trying to estimate when I should start keeping an eye on my mailbox.

4-6 weeks for IRS to receive it then another 4-6 to get it in your mailbox. So 10-12 weeks approximately.

So do I count 4-6 weeks from 9/22 or do I add 10-12 weeks to 9/22. Sorry I’ve been going through this since April with SBTG
