How long does it take to get a check from tpg

It say my check was mailed out on the Aug 4 when will I receive it in the mail ?

You will get it when the mailman puts it in your mail box ... they are sent out first class mail but from where is the question ... could take as much as a week or 2 the way the post office is right now.

@Brieanab No one in this user forum can tell you where the check was mailed from or what day it will land in your mailbox.   You have to simply watch your mailbox--every day.

 It will come in a plain envelope via first class mail so make sure you open all mail and do not assume anything is junk mail without opening it.

The settlement agreement covers users who used TurboTax in 2016, 2017 or 2018.   If you are one of the affected users you will receive about $30 for each of those years in which your income was $34,000 or less and in which you started in the Free Edition and were upgraded to a paid version of the software.

"Covered Consumer" means any individual, or individuals if a joint return was filed, who in Tax Years 2016, 2017, or 2018 was (1) eligible to use an Intuit IRS Free File Product; (2) began his or her tax returns using a TurboTax Free Edition Product; (3) was informed that he or she was ineligible to use a TurboTax Free Edition Product; (4) subsequently paid to use a TurboTax Paid Product, and (5) had not used the Intuit IRS Free File Product in a previous tax year.

You do not have to “sign up” or get on a list.   The payments will be sent out automatically to the affected users.   We do not know yet how soon the payments will be sent.

there is no date posted but they claimed they sent out my check on three different dates. July 19th, 20th, & the 21st. can someone please inform me about this? i still haven’t received my check.

Honestly I don’t know , mines still have the same date !! Hopefully I don’t have them problems.. this my first time doing my taxes .. have you tried calling today?

Turbo sent like a email saying my refund was otw , when did turbo take out their portion? A day later I seen my date

basically for me, a tax preparer did my taxes. she was very unprofessional and tried to keep my check and create me a fake bank account so i had to contact tpg and get an indemnity bond form filled out and notarized then sent back to them so they can ship it to me. so they voided the check the tax preparer had then “shipped” out my new check. i still have yet to receive it and it’s been 15 business days. i just called again im not getting actual proof or information of it being sent out. im not getting any help from them. just lies.

Yea , when you seen all them red flags you should have end the conversation especially when she said use a fake bank account .. ❗️ maybe they still tryna process your information , maybe by her doing all that brought up a red flag
