How do I verify my direct deposit information?

TurboTax does not store your bank account routing and account number.  When completing your tax return you enter the bank routing and account number in the File section of the program.  The bank information is sent with your tax return to the IRS or your state.

How do I verify my direct deposit information?

I have re-entered the information and when I get to the e-file page and I check direct deposit it opens a drop down screen showing a check and where I should get the verified numbers and highlighted under the check copy is verify your account and routing numbers. There is nothing to check and I hit continue.  The screen goes back to do I want to direct deposit, do I have a new account or have I changed banks.  I spent an hour and a half talking to someone in India (Reginald) who I could barely understand and he didn't understand what I was talking about. I actually had to hang up on him because he couldn't help me. I am absolutely stunned and frustrated with turbotax this year and I have been using this system for a lot of years without any issues.  Please is there anyone out there that can help me?

Thank you Carmen

You may need to clear your cache and cookies. Make sure your return is saved in your TurboTax account and then sign out. Clear the cache and delete the cookies on your computer, open a new browser, sign back into your account and try re-entering your bank account information again. You may also want to change browsers, for example, if you are using Chrome, try switching to Firefox.
