How do I talk with someone at Intuit about TurboTax?

On May 19 I got a letter from my state tax & revenue office, saying that they had to adjust our return. I have been trying SINCE MAY 19, to talk to someone at Intuit/TurboTax. I have called them multiple times, for weeks. I've sent messages on Twitter (the only other way I know of to get through to TurboTax, and normally it works very well). I've gone to TurboTax's support.turbotax.intuit.com website and tried to get support there; that has failed miserably. The stupid spinning wheel has been going FOR 30 MINUTES! Just like it has done the previous three times I've tried it over the last week.

Nothing is working.

I think there is one of two possible things that have gone wrong. But since I can't get through to anyone, I've decided to come here, seeking help. How do I talk to a PERSON with TurboTax/Intuit?

After a return has been efiled and  accepted, it can sometimes take a return PDF a while to update and become available at the Tax Home.   If you can't use the Download/print button at the Tax Home or the "Download/print the PDF" link in the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents", or if you're getting incomplete documents when you use one of those methods, here's an alternate way to print by opening the filed return back up to print at the Print Center.

NOTE:  When you open your return back up, do not make any changes in it if it's already been filed.  If you later have to amend the return, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.

  • Log in and at the Tax Home or in the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents" for 2020, look for a link "Add a State."
  • Click on "Add a State."  (you don't really add one.  That's just to open your return back up.)
  • After the return is open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, then PRINT CENTER.
  • Then choose "Print, save, view this year's return."
  • The next screen should offer some options:  "Just my tax returns", or "include government worksheets (optional)", or "include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional.)"
  • See if one of those PDFs has what you need.  The latter has the most pages.

NOTE:  Remember all PDF tax documents and tax data files are very sensitive files, since they contain your personal ID info, financial data, and possibly bank account numbers, etc.  Be sure to store them safely and securely to guard against computer theft, hacking, etc.

Or you can post here and give more information on which state it is and what they mention in the notice as to what changed.

How do I talk with someone at Intuit about TurboTax?

Hi @Critter-3 , I appreciate your help. I've gone to the website https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/ four times. I enter a various search terms to get help. That's the website which results in a spinning graphic, which I've wait for up to 30 minutes, but it doesn't help. I'm hesitant to go into details, given the personal nature of this problem. And at the end of it all, I really need to communicate with Intuit, because there's an issue with the application. Briefly, I did what was required of me from my state, for my side business. I entered that information in TurboTax for 2020. But TurboTax did not take that into account. That's an issue Intuit need to resolve in TurboTax or if there was something I should have done, when doing my income taxes for 2020, I'd like to know so that this never happens to me again.
