@Hilton This is a public forum so please do not list any personally identifying information here. If you need to update your EIN and you have not filed your return yet, you can delete the W-2 in question and manually input it in along with the correct EIN number. Here's how to delete the W-2:

  • Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in).
  • Click on the Take me to my Return button
  • Click on the Federal Taxes tab
  • Click on the Wages and Income tab
  • Find the Wages and Salaries section and select Start/Revisit
  • Select Delete (trashcan icon) on the line listing the W-2 that is no longer applicable.
  • Select Yes on "Are you sure you want to delete this W-2?"

Manually input your w-2 instructions are here.

If you have filed your return already, you will need to change this information once it is accepted or rejected by the IRS.
