I filed taxes in February and received my state tax refund but I owed over $2,000 on Federal taxes and I scheduled a direct payment from my bank April 11th. I got my updated tax form copies through Turbo Tax on 3/25 with the $10,200 tax relief taken off my unemployment and my new AGI listed. I am happy I now get a credit on my Federal taxes instead of owing. When i check my IRS account , I see my 2020 info says being amended but not sure of the time it will take. In the meantime, how do I stop the direct payment i scheduled in Turbo Tax from my account by the IRS in early April as I do not want to have over $2,000 taken out of my checking?
Also with the new AGI I now qualify for the stimulus check, will that be automatic once the IRS amends my taxes?

Thank you but not the correct help, I already saw that on the IRS website and called that number and talked to a person there today. The man I talked to said it is not for anything with direct deposits to IRS I did withTurbo Tax. That it's the number for EFTPS and he could not help to cancel unless I had signed up with them and had an account already. He said EFTPS (Electronic Federal Payment Tax System) is different then direct withdrawal to IRS that I had signed up for on Turbo Tax. I told him I saw this number on the IRS sight, he told me that I needed to go through Turbo Tax and I have found no answer on Turbo Tax's website. Only the one above that says check back how to change date, but I need info on canceling payment? Need help please.
Ok, I am going to answer my own question as to why the number on the IRS sight did not work when I tried to cancel my IRS payment. I had scheduled through Turbo Tax and now do not owe due to the Unemployment $10,200 tax relief credit.
After being told by a guy yesterday at the number [phone number removed] that they are EFPTS and that I needed an account and I could not cancel, I must go through Turbo Tax was not correct. I tried again this morning calling the same number and the women helped me right away! She gave me a conf. number of my bank withdrawal cancelation to the IRS, yeah! I asked her why the guy yesterday said to call Turbo tax or call the main IRS at [phone number removed] (that you can not get through to today). She told me right way, he is probably new and did not read up on everything! So if one person says you can not cancel, call again and get someone else. Good luck, I'm now feeling relieved:)
ok, yes it only says check back for updates, I hope it's done in the next few days!
"If you’ve already filed your federal taxes with TurboTax
We're waiting for guidance from the IRS on how you can change your payment date if you've already filed your return. Check back soon for updates"
Also, Turbo Tax really needs the option to CANCEL your scheduled payment and not just change the date!
"Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about or cancel your payment, but wait 7 to 10 days after your return was accepted before calling." From the IRS
