How can I delay my turbo tax fee auto debit ? I still haven't received my return and now TurboTax us gonna auto debit my account

They're doing the same thing to me. I chose the free edition and now they're saying they need almost $100 from me! This is outrageous, what a scam. They're saying they're going to auto debit my account and I can't get a hold of anyone to get this corrected! No wonder there is a lawsuit happening. Correct this now!

Except a lot of people, myself included, chose the free edition and are now being charged for it. You're not answering the questions, just pushing them off to a service that doesn't answer the phone.

Call the phone number on the TurboTax email you received to make payment arrangements.

Right!!! You are exactly correct, I talked to a tech a week ago that told me straight up that once you get to the free site they do all they can to redirect you to the paid site and if you don’t pay super close attention you are screwed, then she told me to F off and that they would not do anything to help me even tho I qualified for the free one which I tried to sign up for. Get all the info you can on this, because it’s out there, let them debit your account and then tell your bank you didn’t authorize and show all the proof of how they are doing this to people and the bank will overturn it. F you TurboTax. Never again

What happens if the IRS reduces my refund to the point where it no longer covers my TurboTax fees?

If you get hit with a refund offset, what's left over might not be enough to cover your fees. Here's what happens next:

1. We'll send an email with instructions on how to pay your TurboTax fees (minus the Refund Processing fee, if any) by a certain date.
2. If the fees remain unpaid by the specified date, we'll send two more followup emails asking that you either pay or request a deferment to prevent the fees from being automatically debited from your bank account.
3. Finally, if you still haven't paid by the requested date, we’ll send a final email letting you know that we're debiting the fees (minus the Refund Processing fee, if any) and that the auto-debit process cannot be stopped.

The same sequence of events occurs if the IRS is still holding your refund 36 days after your original estimated refund date, except that we'll also debit the Refund Processing fee (if any) in Step 3.

If that number is not available then use this number and select TurboTax - 1-800-4-INTUIT (1-800-446-8848)

Its ashame i havent received my taxes due to i was late turning in my 1099 form.turbo tax didnt even double check it now we have covid 19 and im unemployed but turbo tax talking bout taking money out my account .i will never use them again
