I'm not sure what you mean? Once you file, it goes directly to the IRS.
When you finish entering all of your information, and go through the FILE section, you go to a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now." When you click that button, you send your return directly to the IRS. It does not "go" anywhere else.
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
After the IRS accepts your return, within 24 to 48 hours you can start to track your refund on the IRS refund site.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

Ok I was asking bc I filed I made 8,000 on my transcript it says I made 78,000 and my refund has been on a hold for 6 months thanks for the info.
Thank you for explaining I put on my taxes my income 8,000 but on my transcript it says 78,000 so the IRS did that and put my taxes on a 6 month hold so now I know.
