Has anyone with TurboTax received their second stimulus check yet

Do you happen to bank with chase?

I’m seeing a trend where people who bank with chase and either filed with TurboTax or HR block have not received their payments. HR block clients are having trouble due to the way HR block does their deposits. 

It turns out a lot of us who used TurboTax  will be receiving paper checks in the mail for some reason?? I was also wondering if it had something to do with turbo tax or if it’s just a coincidence -_-

I don't know what is going on. I had fees taken out, so I had to use their partner, SBTG. My refund as well as my first stimulus payment went onto my Netspend card that I have had for YEARS!! I got my first stimulus payment dd onto that card no problems at all. Got 5 days earlier than my transcript said even. Now, this second payment I sit here broke as hell and no payment t as my transcript said it would be sent 1/4. Now, I ask you, TURBO TAX, WHERE IS MY STIMULUS PAYMENT?!?!

There are way too many of your customers affected by this. Someone screwed up somewhere and we're all pissed. I'm sorry, but if you look at some of the FB group pages regarding this second stimulus joke, the majority of people used Turbo Tax. H&R Block customers have already posted they have corrected this problem by routing the misrouted payments from the IRS to customer's active banking accounts. Looks as though TT has decided to mail checks to their customers. We'll, that's just wonderful for those of us who have MOVED!!!! Now I along with many others have to wait for forwarding from the USPS. Yeah, great that will take 2 weeks now on top of all the other delays. Thanks for nothing TT

If you had the fee for filing your taxes taken out of your refund by TurboTax they sent the second to that account.. Which is closed so the deposit was rejected and sent back to the IRS in which case a check will be mailed to the address on file with your 2019 return.

If you had the fee for filing taxes taken out of your refund by TURBOTAX they sent it to there account which is closed.. So that is why a check is being mail.. Stupid but ask anyone that had the fee taken out by TurboTax and they haven’t received it.

Turbo tax is an effin joke! Why the hell did i keep my card for my stimulus check to be mailed. Wtf turbo tax!!!

This is what I found on https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/ regarding anyone who had fees taken out--looks like we will get a paper check this time...so long as they dont send it to the account and have to wait for it to be returned....what a freaking mess. I got mine so fast last time    

12/30/2020 Update

The IRS has announced that the second round Economic Impact Payments(EIP) are being delivered directly to qualified taxpayers, and the IRS has indicated payments will not be delivered to Refund Transfer banks including Santa Barbara TPG. TPG will not play a role in facilitating these payments. The eligibility amount and status of your stimulus payment can be found at IRS.gov/coronavirus.

If the IRS indicates funds were sent to TPG those funds will be rejected back to the IRS. The IRS may indicate funds were deposited to an account ending in the last four digits of your Social Security number. For your protection any account that was established at TPG to facilitate processing of your tax refund was closed when you received your original tax refund, and that account no longer exists.

Unfortunately, TPG does not have any visibility into this information, therefore our agents cannot answer any questions regarding these payments.

I don't know how true this is, but I was just told that if you used Turbo Tax to file your taxes and had the fees deducted, the IRS sent the money to TT's third party bank who rejected the payments so now you have to wait on a paper check. That's why it says "no information available" under the get my payment tool. Idk though.

I bank with Fifth Third, but it looks like all of us who had fees deducted from our return have not received money yet. We have to wait for paper checks now.

If you had fees taken out of refund the santa Barba bank rejected them and u will get paper check

From what I found out after doing some research: 

The IRS sent out stimulus payments as a refund instead of stimulus payment so they routed the funds to tax companies bank products such as Republic, Santa Barbara & Meta Bank the banks sent them back to the IRS because they're not being compensated for issuing out stimulus payments so now the IRS has to send them to whatever bank account you filed your taxes with or if you received a tax check your stimulus will be mailed out.

With that said I assume that’s why people are getting checks mailed or seeing different account number info when they check the Get My Payment on the IRS website. I’m hoping this gets confirmed and listed in FAQ.

I haven't recieved my second stimulus and "get my payment" tool still doesn't work for me.  Faq says everything from i make too much to something gas changed. But nothing has changed, the 1st stimulus came right away and turbo tax told me I was getting it, where now turbotax says nothing.

I still haven't got my second stimulus and mine should've been direct deposit. I don't think I'm using TurboTax this year because they won't even let me speak with anyone. Under the circumstances I would have expected then to talk with me. But they want me to pay for another year 🥺.
