Has anyone received the message, ‘You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.” when they view the stimulus tracker? [Tax Year 2019]

To clarify.  I filed my taxes on Feb 23 and due to me having to file an "injured spouse form" my refund is delayed. Still have not received. But my stimulus will be on my walmart green dot card the 30 th per green dot email.  Filed with turbo but quickly updated my D D on the 15th because the "get my payment" said no dd info.  Cant remember exact wording.  Owed turbo fees so thought that was why. So basically the Irs has turbo card for regular refund and now walmart for stimulus. Hope it doesnt mess things up.

@abelarellanoo then my guess is that they didn’t go by when you put DD in. Seems like they randomly picked a certain amount of statuses to update for all DD’s updated by 4/22, instead of going by taxpayers who updated first. You

Curious what your injured spouse is for? I only ask because my wife files Injured Spouse (8379) on ours every year, for my student loans. Since you also got the email from Green Dot stating that it was exactly 1/2 of what you expected, trying to see if there could have been (yet another) glitch, and student loans deducted anyway.

I am in the exact same situation as you except mine is supposed to be going to a bank account hopefully when I can check it again I'll finally have a deposit date

@NCperson  Hey I filed my 2019 taxes on April 3rd. My message was consistently we can not determine your eligibility for stimulus. My return was processed around the 22nd give or take and my status updates 2 days after that I was eligible. Now I am schedule for payment. So long story short I think when they are processing 2019 they are waiting until it is injshed before asking someone eligible. But all guess work on my part

I don't know because rkthumbs4444 filled a injured spouse so his taxes aren't processed yet because they take 13 weeks but he has been given a date for his stimulus

@Bloopbloop - that is consistent with other posts.  I don't think I've seen anyone who has their 2019 return in processing who has actually received the stimulus

@Patrick73 afaik injured spouse as it applies to stimulus will only get your spouses $ which would mean he received the correct amount.  His situation would have to be child support as thats the only thing they are intercepting.

My comment to him pertains to the fact that both he and I are receiving ours on a Green Dot card, and both received a message about a deposit that's exactly half of what we're expecting. I don't owe child support to anyone, my only kids live at home with me and my wife and I have been together 20 years. My Federal offset every year is for Student Loans, but yet, half of mine appears to have been taken anyway. We're both hoping it's simply an error on Green Dot's end in the amount they're stating will be deposited, but right now it appears that may have been what happened, regardless of what the IRS is/isn't supposed to have offset the payment for.

This is really crazy I entered my DD information on get my payment portal April 15 at 730am it says I'm eligible for payment and will update with a date when available it still says the same thing. I'm seeing alot of people finally got a date but still alot of us havent recieved a date yet if your eligible for the payment there shouldn't be any hold up period if theres a problem it just should say your not eligible and give the reason it shouldn't matter if you're tax return is processing or not your eligible your eligible send the money why make us wait for something that's desperately needed now just to send it after whatever the hold up is? I know people that recieved paper checks already this is really frustrating I just dont understand that if we are eligible why cant we at least get a payment date or a reason why we havent recieved a date. Please everyone keep this post updated maybe we can find one particular thing we all have in common to why we havent recieved a date yet

What do you mean, to see what they were paying? As far as I'm aware, all the "Get My Payment" status says is that our payment is scheduled for the 30th, same as the Green Dot email did. That application doesn't say the amount, to my knowledge, or denote any offsets. That would be something that would be in the letter that is received from the IRS within 2 weeks of the payment being sent.

This is the email content (minus personal information, email address, etc). We are married, 1 eligible dependent, and anticipated $2900. The only Federal offset either of us have/have ever had is my student loans, and she files an 8379 each year for her part of the refund. We've done so for the past 14 years.

For my further peace of mind, I called the TOP (Treasury Offset Program) #, and confirmed that I only have 1 debt, to the Dept of Education, and my wife has no offsets. So IF half was actually taken, it was taken in error. For now, I'll assume Green Dot is simply wrong. I'll update on the 30th.
