Has anyone received the message, ‘You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.” when they view the stimulus tracker? [Tax Year 2019]

So from the sounds of it, if we updated our bank information in the past week, we should receive the stimulus by may 1st? that sound correct? i updated mine last Friday the 17th. Still has changed my message of, "You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.

Does that sound right? I hope so......

i didnt use it i used e file the irs program to do my taxes im here because the problem is the same

I didn’t use TurboTax this year, so it’s not a turbo tax issue.

Then the IRS website is clearly the common denominator and everyone who entered their info is in the "same boat". Which means it will probably be fixed.

I have a disabled family member who works at a supermarket risking his health, and I still get this message for him and for me. The sad part is that there are people who are not even citizens and have much more money than us, and they got their checks a week ago without even using the "get my payment portal". This is a failure for IRS and unbelievable.

So it seems as though everyone here has probably filed through a tax preparer and had extra fees added on that were supposed to come out of return or a cash advance and have yet to receive a return. Or you’re simply still waiting on your return. Please let me know so I can stop narrowing this group down and realize that this problem is with many and not just the above lol

we are all eligible we all gave direct deposit info we were told they will deposit the money but none of us have a date.

I got this message. Updated my bank info 8am on 4/15 when the Get My Payment portal launched. I keep seeing comments about updating before last Thursday to get your payment today. I didn’t get mine today and there were no errors or issues. Where did you find the info about 8 days with direct deposit??? Can’t find it anywhere.

Nope, none of the above situations applies to me. Exiled early , got refund with no issues, did not use tax preparer or  get an advance or prepaid card. It’s simply standard government inefficiently in action in my opinion.
