Got state not federal

So weird thing need explained.. I got my state refund back in less then ten days after excepted but yet federal says it has to verify income.. how is it state had no problems but federal dies??

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
