Does turbotax give advance loans????

TurboTax does not offer "refund anticipation loans" in the classic sense.

TurboTax will have a test program for a "Refund Advance" which may be offered to certain users who efile their returns and choose to have their refunds deposited to a Turbo Prepaid VISA Card.  The Refund Advance is a 0% loan in increments of $250 up to $1,000.   That advance is not available until one has efiled the return and the IRS has accepted it.  You can read more at this link, but there is no way to self-select into the Refund Advance offer.   Some users will see the option show up on the screen where they choose how they want to receive their refund.

Not at this time, and we do not know if there will be any sort of refund advance when the tax season begins.  last year for 2018 returns, certain qualified users were offered refund advances on prepaid Visa cards, but the loan had to be offered to you--you could not self-select it.  We have no information at this time if the program or a similar one will be offered for 2019 returns--even if they have something, do not expect it until the end of January at the earliest.

It's too early to get an Advance for 2019.  We don't know if they will offer Advances for 2019.  If they do, you can't apply for it.  Only if they offer it to you when you file.
