Does TurboTax do what HR BLOCK does and allows you to take a loan on your return?

TurboTax may have the option for a federal tax refund advance on the 2023 tax return starting in January 2024.

If they do, you do not apply for the loan.  If you are eligible it will offered to you when you have completed the 2023 federal tax return and ready to e-file the return.

The Advance won't be available until after January 1 and just when you are ready to file.  And only if they offered it to you.  You can't self select it.  Then you don't get it until AFTER your efile is Accepted by the IRS.
