Good Morning,
I am very frustrated because I can't actually talk to someone and I have yet to see where we can go to determine why I did not get my stimulus payment. I qualify to receive it, filed my return through TurboTax, had my Federal refund direct deposited into my account. I have not gotten my stimulus payment. When I enter the information into "Get My Payment" on the IRS site, I get a message indicating my information does not match their records. The information I am entering is exactly the same as what is on my Turbo Tax Return. Is there a phone number, or a place I can send an email to find out what is happening with my refund. So far, none of the tools available work for me because they don't pertain to my situation.
I appreciate anything you can do to help.
Thank you.

@laundj - are you entering your name EXACTLY as it is on your social security card? try that
Thanks for your response. It does not ask for my name. It only asks for a social security number, street address and zip code.

I know this is going to be redundant, but on the IRS website it needs to have the Exact information from the federal tax return that was filed.
So even if you entered the correct street address, was it entered Exactly as is shown on the federal tax return, including Upper and Lower case letters? And the date of birth must have 2 digits for the month and day plus 4 digits for the year, separated by a /. The Social Security number must only be 9 digits with no dash (-) entered between the numbers.
I entered my information on the IRS website on 04/15/2020 and it was accepted so that I could then enter my direct deposit information.
Thank you for your information. I have entered my information exactly as it is on my Federal Tax Return. I am still getting a message stating their records do not match what I have. I guess I will just have to wait for the check.
I'm having the same problem. I suspect that it may be due to the fact that my wife & I are also on Social Security but I need someone to tell me when I can expect our $2,400. I did try to go in again today And saw a notice that the website will be shutting down for a few days for planned maintenance thru Saturday. Maybe by Sunday or Monday we'll have some more answers.
@djdankinney - this is the FAQ:
The Get My Payment application will return "Payment Status Not Available" for several reasons, including:
We update Get My Payment data once per day, overnight so there is no need to check more often. If you are eligible for a payment and have provided your information either through a recent tax return or the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here application, please check back for updates.
None of these applies to me. I filed my returns in February & paid my taxes electronically via TurboTax. I also paid electronically & my checking account in Quicken showed the deduction on March 3rd. Like I said, I expect & hope that it has something to do with the fact that I am on SS but I just wish I could get thru to someone at the IRS to find out when I can expect payment. Maybe by Monday after "planned maintenance".
I sure hope so. Thanks for the information. I am just perplexed altogether because none of the situations they discuss as possibilities for the problem apply to me. I hope you get your check soon.
Thank you. We already got our income tax refund through direct deposit. Hopefully, this information will help someone else.
