What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

LMFAOO!!!!! 3-4 WEEKS?????Been nearly 10 weeks. IRS not dd my account yet. They said after  the 22nd (10 weeks) if no dd or word from them pricks to get this...CALL BACK!!!!!!🤣😂🇺🇸.So pissed as amidst this pandemic I need this refund more than past years. Cars on the fritz, Bills piling up and now facing eviction.  And yes here they can evict you....As I know 2 people in this town that went to court for nonpayment of rent and were given 10 days to get out. So we wait. If we owed irs they'd be coming after our **bleep** if we didn't pay them...believe that. After filed out of tt hands as they can't check progress. I ordered a transcript by mail and get this. Transcript reads no record of return on file.....🤣🤣😂😂🤣. And tt site says my return was accepted on the 13th of February as I filed on the 28th but irs didn't start accepting till feb 12th. So pissed but  you gonna do..storm the treasury demanding refund.  Pretty sad when the government is supposed to be for the people but in all reality were just a vote....and not for Biden/Harris.

Outdated computers? Its 2021?!!! They have a annual budget of 11 BILLION DOLLARS so I don't want to hear that bs. Yes they may be behind so why hire more employees seeings how their trying to get stimulus money out.......why wouldn't they get taxes out first as I'm waiting on a Big return and would rather have refund than the measly stimulus payments. Another question... had buddies filed with same filing status and got their returns within weeks. I believe its tt and their program that started this mess . Now we hurry up and wait.

Just gotta be patient. I was about to 10 wks and checked wmr site today and BANG!!!!!! Bars were back and gave me a refund date of the 29th of April.  I guess their just busy af but return was 850$ less than filed amount and they said would mail letter stating why. At least its coming and just gotta say be patient . Ik it's tough especially if your in my situation and really needing to fix car, pay rent and piling bills. Gl yall and will keep you posted fam on whether or not it comes early etc.

Almost 11 wks and got refund date this am on wmr site. Just gotta be patient. Refund is 850 less and they said they'd send letter stating why I'm assuming stimulus bs but idc at least I have a date......FINALLY!!!!!!!!

You need to relax. No “illegal” gets any of the money- I too just got an approval and was give $700 less. You know why? Because there was an error on the line where my stimulus payment amount should have been. So who’s fault is it that you got less money? Yours...clearly they found errors on your return. I stead of trying to find a scapegoat, file your taxes right next time. Good day-

Anyway I filed on 02/15 and (at 21 days) got the 152 message everyone has been getting. I was able to reach the IRS on 04/16 by calling exactly as they opened and dialing ext 652 to speak to a live person. I had to redial about 3 times before getting through, then waited on hold for 15 minutes.

A rep was able to give me a Direct Deposit date of 04/21, and told me my refund amount had been reviewed and adjusted.  At the same time, WMR still showed as "still processing" and I still had the "no return filed/ received" message on my IRS account. 

This morning suddenly, EVERYTHING updated. My bars returned with "refund approved", my transcript appeared on my account and my refund was increased by $100 - with a letter of explanation scheduled to be mailed. There was also an update on the Get My Payment link that showed my missing stimulus would be mailed out same day as my direct deposit.

I do not condone the Xenophobic diatribe by the two previous posters. However @iaddira, the Stimulus payment error you refer too may be a Turbo Tax software error.  Only where user's manually entered a value for the credit would the error be between the keyboard and the monitor. Otherwise the value entered was calculated by TT.  I am also curious as to how many TT user's had their tax refunds delayed due to the confusion between tax preparers and the IRS regarding the Stimulus credit.

@kevvy  That’s awesome for you. I’m still waiting on my refund for my missing first and second stimulus checks. My status on it still says still  being processed. But I’m not sure if they’ll add the third stimulus check also. Since I haven’t received any of them. And I filed 2/16

I filed my 2021 refund well I did it on turbo tax but it was rejected so I mailed it in I mailed it out on 02/20 and for the longest time it said information doesn’t match and now recently it says being processed.  I still haven’t received my 2019 refund, nor the second or 3rd stimulus check

Omg no. Just t÷lling the truth. Report whatever. I work extremely hard for my money to just be given away to people in our great country illegally. You may be fine with it but I'm entitled to my opinion. So idc if you rat me out to moderators.
