@Marci1 Please try printing through the print center, see the instructions below:

How do I print a copy of my return filed in the TurboTax CD/Download software?
What the heck is going on here? Previously, I could print the PDF file, as indicated by the Print PDF button. Now, it doesn't work and will only print a text file. I've read all of the replies to this issue and it's crystal clear to me that the software developers introduced a bug. Why can't they just admit it and FIX THE PROBLEM!
Goodness!

Your web browser changed the file extension of the PDF download to .txt from .pdf. Rename the file extension to .pdf
I am having the same problem The Printer window never comes up and Turbotax hangs...
Thanks for the suggestion to change the .TXT extension to .PDF, but HOW DO YOU DO THAT? (When I try to rename the file, it only allows me to change the filename, not the extension.) Look forward to your help.

After you click on Rename the name of the file will be highlighted. Put your cursor on the end of the extension name, back space over the txt and then enter pdf
I decided to try Google Chrome browser (instead of Microsoft Edge) and it worked fine! So, for all you TurboTax users having a similar problem, I would suggest using Google Chrome. (btw: This is not the first time I have found that Google Chrome clears up issues that exist on the Microsoft Edge browser.)
For Intuit software developers, I suggest looking into this issue with Microsoft, because right now you cannot print the taxes in PDF format. For some reason, Edge wants to print and/or save the file in .TXT format.
Still having the same issue, can not save to PDF or print return, the print window never comes up, Tried complete reinstall of Turbotax with no luck. All my other applications print fine, this is TurboTax software issue.
