Been 5 weeks since I sent in my amended return and the IRS shows it still hasn't received it?

April Forward?  they recieved mine march 2020 and tell me nothing every month but covid etc.  but ill go with the april forward...

3% on the interest was what I was told. I could be wrong though. I will be talking to the balance team next week to try and get some more answers. Today, they told me their systems were down. Hopefully you all get your money!

Yes 3% interest per year.

If your refund is delayed six months, multiply by  1.015.

I’m not sure if that is correct…. Last year I received an extra $1300 for interest because mine was delayed for like 4 months.

Mine the same way priority mail and I talk to them they told me they received it and it was moving along

Per the IRS website, it is taking them more than 20 weeks to process amended tax returns. You can visit the IRS's Where's My Amended Return? website for more information and to access the Amended Refund Status tool.

I am now 6 months into waiting for the IRS to still process my return. They have advised they don’t know how long it’s going to be because they are still not 100% open yet. They told me to call back in another 30 days. I have been really needing this money and have been waiting for it, so don’t get your hopes up! Good luck everyone! Q

5 weeks? You’re a lightweight. I amended my 2020 return for the same education credit and it was accepted by the IRS On April 23, 2021. I’ve been waiting almost an entire year and it looks like we will be waiting even longer

Same. July will be a year for me. Here’s to hoping that we’ll get some good news soon.
