Hello,
Need help, I did a return on my taxes, and it was accepted within an hour. So today I tried to check the return on my desktop for confirmation of the acceptance by IRS, and when I checked, it states that I didn’t e-file yet.
I decided to go ahead and e-file again, and I when I did, I received a pop-up stating the following:
’The submission is a duplicate of one that was previously received. please contact customer support’.
please help, and thank you for your assistance

No, the system would not let you file twice. However, the best way to confirm the status of your e-filed returns would be to contact Customer Support. For more information, please see this help article: What does accepted mean?
Until the IRS starts processing your tax return there may not be a record of it on the IRS website. If your federal return was just accepted today, please wait 24 hours before checking the status. The IRS updates the Where's My Refund site only once a day and that is usually in the overnight hours. Please also see the below TurboTax FAQ for more information:
Why is there no record of my return at Where's My Refund (WMR)?
Please feel free to contact TurboTax Customer Support if you have additional questions.
What is the TurboTax phone number?

Hello,
For your information, IRS has accepted my return, however, Turbo Tax desktop still shows that I need to e-file.
I tried calling customer support from overseas, but I get disconnected.

@Mekerra
Once the IRS accepts your tax return, they will have the most up-to-date information for you. The IRS won't accept two tax returns with the same social security numbers, etc. If the first return was accepted and you sent the second submission in after that, it would get rejected.
To find out where your refund is, first check your e-file status. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.
