Additional income not reported

So, I filed my Fed. and State taxes yesterday and paid my taxes due via bank account. Then this morning I realized that I did not include income noted on a 1099R for my wife. How do I correct this?

Additional income not reported

Has your return already been accepted?

If so, you should file an amended return to report the additional income (assuming it changes your tax due amount).

If it hasn't been accepted yet, wait until you get confirmation. Should your return get rejected, you'll have a second chance to enter the missing 1099-R before you try e-filing again or filing via paper.
