Hi. I e-filed federal and state returns with you guys last year. The State of Louisiana is claiming that I didn't pay taxes or file last year and owe them $868. I have a copy of the email that says that my state return was accepted, but I was hoping I could get some more official documentation as proof that I did for my appeal.

By "last year" do you mean a 2019 return? Log in, and at the Tax Home scroll down to the section Your Tax Returns & Documents. Expand that section and select 2019. It should display whether it was accepted or not. Then view the 2019 PDF. It will likely be a large version with all the worksheets. Look for one of the extra pages called " State Electronic Postmark." (or similar words) There may be 2 pages for electronic postmark--one for Federal and one for State. That should prove you efiled, and that it was accepted.
If you require anything more than that, such as a state efile confirmation number, you'll need to talk to TurboTax Support to see if they can assist you. If you used Free Edition (that's what is displayed underneath your question above), it's best to do that through the free TurboTax Audit Support Center. To phone them during business hours, go to the page below and click on the blue "Get Help" button and follow the prompts to get the phone number. (It will say IRS letter, but they also help with state letters, state audits, etc.)

They are closed until Tuesday, Sept. 7, due to the holiday weekend.
If you paid any 2019 state taxes due with the return, you should have that proof in your bank records, credit card statement, cancelled check, etc.--depending on how you paid them.
Thank You!
You're welcome. Good luck.
Just another possibility here, as I find this to be the most common.
It may help to read that letter again, as there is a vast difference between "filing" your taxes and "paying" your taxes. Also, just because the state may have accepted your e-filed state return, does not mean they agree with it as filed. Maybe the state found an issue (such as unreported income) then amended the tax return "for you" resulting in you owing additional tax for which you are being billed.
@AaronVines Did you have a state tax due? How did you pay it?
Accepted just means they accepted your return for processing. Only you would know if the tax due got paid. Your proof is your bank account statement or credit card statement showing the payment coming out. And Turbo Tax doesn't pay any tax due for you. Turbo Tax just sends your payment method to the state. You either put down your bank account number for the state to pull it directly out of your account or you needed to mail in a check. Most states don't let you pay by direct debit. Did you check your bank account to see if it came out? You should have an instruction sheet telling you how to pay it.
Oh, and you can't have a state tax due deducted from your federal refund. Never. You can only have the Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund.
Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbotax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.
