Paper return filed after ex unlawfully claimed son.

I mailed in 2 paper returns to irs for my federal taxes that have been rejected due to ex wife claiming our son unlawfully and she states she has amended her return but i feel she isn't telling the truth due to her telling her mother she thinks she has a court document stating she can claim him every other year but knows that she in court gave up all custody rights to him many many years ago. when checking status online or on phone irs says they have not received my paper return and i have mailed it numbers of times how can i get this solved soon i am due a refund and i get no where on even getting my return into the hands of the irs?

Sorry----if your "ex" filed first and claimed your child it prevents you from e-filing and you have to file by mail.   And it takes a lot longer for the IRS to process mailed returns.   It may be weeks before you are able to see anything on the IRS refund site.  When they finally open your envelope and put your return into the system it will show up on the refund site.   Do not keep sending in tax returns.    You will have to be patient.....sorry.

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
