If you claimed EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will begin issuing tax refunds on returns February 27, 2019.

For the most up to date information Where’s My Refund? will give you a personalized date once they approve your refund. Once Where's My Refund? shows "Refund Sent" and a date, it could take up to 5 days for it to be reflected in your bank account, it all depends on the bank, how and when funds are credited. This does exclude weekends and holidays.

First, double check to be sure the tax return was received and accepted by the tax agency:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp">https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efi...>

If the tax return has been accepted, verify the federal refund status here:

When you track the federal refund, be sure youre only entering the federal refund amount, not the combined refunds for both fed and state, or it wont be able to access your information.

State refund status here:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund">https://ttlc.intuit.com/qu...>

When you track the state refund, be sure youre only entering the state refund amount, not the combined refunds for both fed and state, or it wont be able to access your information.
