No Form 1040-X Was Generated from TurboTax 2020 Downloaded Version (Delux, Mac)

I want to amend my 2020 federal and state tax return.  After following the notices in the downloaded version (Delux, Mac) of TurboTax2020, no 1040-X (only 1040) was generated from the software.  Can anyone let me know how to make it?

You cannot amend a tax return that was just accepted.   You have to wait for it to be processed by the IRS.  Trying to send in an amended return while they are still processing the original return could confuse things and delay your refund for months.

Do not try to change anything on your return now.  When you amend, your Form 1040X has to be prepared from the return exactly the way it looked when you filed it originally.   You have to wait.   Once your return has been processed you will complete a Form 1040X   --- which is not yet available --- and submit it to amend the mistakes made when you filed your original return. It takes the IRS at least four months to process an amended return.

The 2020 Form 1040X does not become available until the end of March 2021 (subject to change).

I just received tax refund so I know it has been processed by IRS.

But it is good to know IRS will release 2020 Form 1040X until March 2021.

I am in basically the same situation as above, with the exception of the fact that I purchased the TurboTax Home & Business CD rather than downloaded a copy. So that being said, my original return was sent in February, has been process and now I need to amend my 2020 return. In the previous answer, it was suggested that the 2020 1040-X would be available in March. Now that March has passed I still can not figure out how to find the TurboTax 1040-X download so I can file an amended return. 

If you could provide a link to the download that would be great!  

Also, A link to a tutorial would be great was well...

If you have the desktop software for 2020 you do not need a download to amend.   Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Tax Forms>Amend a return   ---- it is already in your desktop software
