Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I realized that the names on the W-2s I submitted/ filed online are switched. Do I need to send an amendment?

My spouses name and my name should be reversed on the w-2s that were filed online.

No, as long as those W-2s are reported on your joint tax return and your return was accepted, you should be fine. You do not report detailed W-2 info on an amendment and the IRS received the same W-2 forms you did.

I would keep those W-2s in case the IRS or your state has any questions.
