@Dre53rd No one has posted to this thread since April 2021---and you only posted one word" "yes"----we do not know why or whether you actually have a question. If you have a question please ask a complete question; otherwise we do not know how to help you.
Yes, I have new banking info as well as a new phone number
Can someone please call me at my new number [phone number removed] so I can PLEASE speak to a real person. Your website is frustrating the hell out of me. Thanks
@PapaDons53 No one can call you from the user forum. And please do not try to post your phone number here in a public website that can be seen by scammers or identity thieves who would love to call you and pretend to be from TurboTax.
Please explain your issue clearly so we can help. This is a thread that began about entering banking information so that you can get a direct deposit for your refund. Do you have a problem pertaining to your banking information?
For your safety, please do not post your number in a public forum.
I am sorry, however, we are unable to schedule calls here. Please reach out to us following the Help Article here for the best way to get in contact with us directly.
I need to change back account information
Did you already e-file? If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section and change how you want to receive your refund. If you want direct deposit you need the routing number and your own account number.
You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.
If you e-filed:
Banking information for direct deposit is wrong
If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected. If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it. The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return. Expect a delay of at least a couple of weeks to receive your refund.
Here is what the IRS says about entering incorrect banking information
