Filed 01/20/24 @ 4:11am
On my account (under the refund amount) it says SUBMITTED 01/22/24 then a line going to PENDING 01/20/24. The next line it would go to is IRS REFUND est. with no date.
I usually get accepted by the IRS within minutes after filing every year, except for this year.
I seen a bunch of people (on Reddit) filed 1-2 days before me (also used TurboTax) and was accepted same day or next day.
Did I do something wrong or my return just hasn’t got sent to IRS yet since my SUBMITTED date says 01/22/24 instead of actually being 01/20/24 when I filed?!?

They do early batch test every year. I have been doing the same thing, on the same date for the last 3 years because of the refund advance (return always getting accepted the same day way before they open).
The early test batches are small. The fact that you filed early is no guarantee that your e-file will be in a test batch. Your return may be sitting on the server with the other millions of returns that are waiting for January 29. All you can do is wait. Sometime on or after 1-29 you will get an email telling you if your return was accepted or rejected. Do not try to make any changes to your return while it is in pending.

The IRS should being processing returns sometime this morning (Monday). There is always a huge backlog on opening day, so you may or may not hear anything back on Monday.
The IRS can't have a record of your efiling on its website until after your Federal return has been accepted, and it may take up to another 24 hours after acceptance for it to appear in the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool.
Thank you feel bit better now

You're welcome. Good luck.
Did it ever change yet?
There could be a couple or reasons why you might be experiencing a delay;
1. First, the status might be pending for security reasons. This may be a sign that someone is trying to use your identity to file a tax return. The return has been placed on hold to give you an opportunity to cancel it if it doesn't belong to you. This can take up to 72 hours, after which your return will then be forwarded to the IRS, or if applicable, rejected. If rejected, you can then correct the rejection issue and resubmit. Please see this FAQ for reference.
2. Secondly, there could be a delay if your return has various refundable credits, such as the Earned Income Credit.
Note: Both instances may be applicable. That is, you could have a hold for security reasons first. And additionally for verification of the refundable credits in your return. In this case, delays might extend beyond 72 hours.
I’ve did forget my Ip PIn the new one but it shouldn’t take this long to reject it
Mine is like this too its pending for 5 days and hasn't changed
