@larrycosma Only the IRS controls when you will get your refund. Apparently you filed early, before the IRS began to accept e-files on January 29, and your return was in one of the small early "test batches" that they take in ahead of the date when they open officially. Just keep checking on it to see if they show a different message there. We are seeing a lot of early filing users who are undergoing identity verification.
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
This means the IRS has your tax return and is processing it.
Are you getting EIC or the additional child tax credit? If so, you are subject to the PATH hold.
If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund earlier than late February.
I am not getting EIC or the additional child tax credit. The pasy years I was getting my taxes way faster. Under 21 days.

Hello! So far I am getting the same message : "
Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available. For more information about processing delays, please see our Refund Frequently Asked Questions.
Please Note: For refund information, please continue to check here, or visit the Refunds page on IRS.gov. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day."
