About the Refund Advance application process - Community
I filed Jan 15th was accepted by irs Jan 27th and I also applied for the loan can't find any info on the status of my loan but read somewhere that the refund advance/loan is usually loaded on your turbotax debit card 48hrs after the irs accepts your return.
Yes correct, if you qualify for Refund Advance and are approved for the Turbo Visa Debit Card, you’ll be notified by email of the approved amount and you’ll be able to start spending online, typically within 48 hours of the IRS accepting your return.
You will be emailed instructions on how to set up your temporary Turbo Card account to start spending online.
Your Turbo Card will arrive in the mail within 5-10 business days. The temporary card information will work for 15 days or until you activate your physical Turbo Visa Debit Card, which will arrive within 5 to 10 business days of IRS acceptance and Refund Advance loan approval.
The rest of your refund (minus any TurboTax fees) will be loaded on the same Turbo Card as your Refund Advance, typically within 21 days from IRS acceptance. You’ll be able to spend the money anywhere Visa is accepted in the U.S.
If you weren’t approved, you will receive an email with the general reason for denial and contact information if you have additional questions about the decision.

I never received an email stating I was approved or denied for the loan but I did receive the card in the mail a few days ago.
I believe most understands the general process. The questions are after you receive an email that you've filed successfully, notified of setting up turbo acct with temp card info, and then receiving email that return was accepted. When are we suppose to receive emails of decisions?
So either they're are technical overloads or turbo tax hasn't trained you for different scenarios regarding advances and hiccups that might come along. But it's definitely misleading.
