I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

no update for me either... I filed FEb 5.. .Received 9001 code.. Called IRS< they stated to wait on letter.>>.REceived letter March 1.... Verified identity March 4 (this monday)..... I am probably a little premature with checking anyway... They told me 9 weeks from the verification date is when I should receive funds... I have a friend that verified identity a week before receiving refund money in account...

TurboTax needs to update their answer to this thread at the top. Code 9001 is NOT a computer glitch.... It means your tax return was pulled from processing. And it won't  get put back into processing until you fix the problem. Take action on your end. There is a phone number and extension number there for a reason! I delayed myself a whole month for verification by believing the answer at the top of this thread. IRS is swamped...They don't care if you call to get your shiz straight. Ppl that wait around til March/April to fix their 9001 code and wait for verification gonna get delayed AF. If you talk to a Rep that says it's a glitch just wait....do not believe them. Call right back until someone is willing to "look into it" and place you on a brief hold. Seriously, this is one of those things you gonna have to jump through hoops to get your money back this year.

@egotu1  they are required to tell you 9 weeks. Plan on 2-4 tops... Hang in there.
