There is some shady stuff happening when all my documentation from filing electronically says I'll be getting a refund amount of $3,521 (minus the amount for e-filing and using Deluxe package through TurboTax) and my deposit is only $2,195! It's not even from the IRS, but from a third party I knew nothing about when processing my order. Show me where I authorized the receipt of my refund through this third party. I did not even request my refund to be rushed. I was willing to wait the usual 3 weeks or 21 days. Not only that, the IRS page stated my refund hasn't even been sent yet! What's going on TurboTax?

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group is the servicing provider of your tax refund when you choose to pay your TurboTax fees via Pay with My Refund. For more information, please see What is Refund Processing Service?
In this public forum, we cannot diagnose why your refund has been reduced. For additional information, please see this TurboTax blog post: Why is My Tax Refund Not What I Expected?
No! It did not solve "my problem". Your problem is not being honest and upfront with your customers. Your problem is that your company is doing shady business. Your problem is that you will be seeing a class action lawsuit. The third party who is handling your customers refunds is keeping OUR money. I called the IRS offset line. I DO NOT owe ANY MONEY that would have been kept from my refund. The IRS accepted my return and approved it. There should never have been a discrepancy with the amount I was quoted on TurboTax and the amount I actually received. Thirteen hundred dollars is a lot of money to be shorted. Don't you dare tell me that's taxes and fees taken from me for a service I knew nothing about by a company I did not approve to be handling my business.
Neither TT nor Santa Barbara Group is told when the IRS makes an adjustment. But it sounds like it might be related to the $1400 Stimulus #3, which the IRS may believe you already received. You will get a letter in the mail from the IRS in 2-4 weeks.
