I received a letter fron IRS saying i didnt report my wifes income. so i dienloaded laat years tax papers and its on there. what shouls i do?

I would call them directly at the number on the letter or at 1-800-829-1040.

It could be that there was a missing or corrected W-2 or some other tax form.

What kind of income? W2, 1099Misc, 1099R Or ? Maybe it showed up on the wrong line? What line is it on? Or the IRS got another form you didn’t enter.
